Just put in some temporary items in with out descriptions if you want to just test the engine out but ya I wouldn't mind just seeing what it looks like so far even with out the items.

OK so here be the plan.  Vitoc setup up the test server tonight with 'bare' content.  We run a test on multiple logins/interactions.  After that test is complete, depending on its success <should we encounter errors we will of course fix then redo the same test> I'll get a 100ish room chunk of my work in there.  Which will test various room types, my spelling/grammar, various exit types, various ways of rgening NPCs and monsters, maximum monsters per area, and any additional PC interactions that can occur because of the new content.

At the point where these basic tests are passed, then we can focus on adding additional coding and content.

Daily Dose has free wireless.

I'm just saying...

We should hit cofee up for money to hire people to beat up people that bug you for new content a week after this server goes up.

Ugh... that didn't last too long.  Ok, I've programmed at work all day long, and worked on GMUD all night long.  I have to get up early for work tomorrow, so I'm going to hit the sack.  I promise I'll get a more stable version running tomorrow when I get home from work.

Btw, do you know exactly what you were doing when it crashed tca?

Just a suggestion but from a point of debugging if you could set up log that records the actions of players and their current state it might help you along.. The other thing that might help is to have the room show the room/map number or somehting like that so we can tell you exactly the room we were in if the test area gets larger.

The other thing is I had used gos in combat with no items and it worked so it I don't think it was just gos maybe it had something to do with the club... If you didn't get that gos before it crashed then it was due to combat. since I already killed a acid slime with no items then I would think that it was do to combat with items on. Thats about as exact as I can get.

just for note of reference:
