How about the following rule for lives: lives cost level^2 platinum.
So at lvl 1, it costs 1 plat for 1 life. At lvl 10, it costs 100plat=1 runic per life. At lvl 50, 2500 platinum= 25 runic per life. Will give money some use in this game. Its probably too late to make this an ingame feature, but I think you could administer it.
This is a great great idea by pent. fantastic, but i think it should be halved.
lvl 10 should be less then 50 plat (as in, i usually dont see a runic until after lvl 15) and being 12.5 runic at level 50.
(which is still, pretty hefty, considering you dont max lvl till 75)
Maybe it should be a different type of scaleable multiplier.
Like your level x your tens value.
Eveything before that should be just 1 plat a life (as anything under lvl 10 1 plat is hard to come by period, and you cant even start your first quest until lvl 10)
If your lvl 10 it should be "1p per lvl x 1"
if your lvl 20 it should be "2p per lvl x 2"
etc.
Ill write up a small chart explaining.
(The multiplier scale is #plat X Level X tens) <where: #plat = tens>
lvl
1-9 = NO MULTIPLIER: 1 plat per life.
10-19 = 1pXlvlX1 (@ lvl 10 = 10p,per life, max- 19p @ lvl 19)
20-29 = 2pXlvlX2 (@ lvl 20 = 40p,per life, max- 116p @ lvl 29)
30-39 = 3pXlvlX3 (@ lvl 30 = 270p,per life, max- 351p @ lvl 39)
40-49 = 4pXlvlX4 (@ lvl 40 = 640p,per life, max- 784p @ lvl 49)
50-59 = 5pXlvlX5 (@ lvl 50 = 1250p,per life, max-1475p @ lvl 59)
60-69 = 6pXlvlX6 (@ lvl 60 = 2160p,per life, max-2484p @ lvl 69)
70-75 = 7pxlvlx7 (@ lvl 70 = 3430p,per life, max-3675p @ lvl 75)
Personally, I think this is a very favorable chart. And its only 1 multiplier after lvl 9.
Level 50 is right about Half* of pent's suggestion which is what i favor.
bout 1 runic through 20's, 3 runic through 30's. 6-7 runic through 40's.
This is a favorabe multipier I think.
